Here at the Florida Justice Reform Institute, we’re striving to bring about real change. We’re doing everything we can to make it more difficult to take advantage of lawsuits.

Our Goals

For more than a decade, we have been one of the most prominent legal interest groups in our community. With our knowledge and expertise of the law, we’ve successfully passed new, beneficial laws, and blocked the unhelpful ones. Now we’re setting our sights on changing the civil justice system. These laws weren’t put in place to be a source of income for people to get rich off lawsuits.

We’re pushing for strong tort and PIP reform to help lower the costs from civil liability cases and make settlements fairer. Lawsuits shouldn’t be abused to make money. Our fight for change will encourage juries to stay focused on the facts of the case to determine the guilt or innocence of an individual, rather than allowing themselves to be distracted by a monetary amount. Instead of settling for unjust legal legislation, help us make a real change.
